Master in Business Administration - MBA is the most sought after post-graduate degree in India today. Most institutes offer its equivalent - Master in Management
Studies - MMS. The course study aims to cover business principles and strategies to students with specialization areas based on skills and efficiency along with
interest and motivation in that field. These areas include - finance, marketing, operations, human resources as the main branches and sub-specializations within
them too.

It's that time of the year again, when the series of management entrance exams shall commence accounting for aspirants wishing to take up business management
studies for post-graduation. The CAT, CMAT, IBSAT are a few popular upcoming management entrance exams which thousands of competing students aim to take
every year. Students who have registered for these exams have been preparing for India's most difficult and coveted exams so as to secure a seat for themselves at
top B-schools. Confused, frustrated, puzzled, and anxious - are just a few adjectives to describe the state of these students with the exams right around the corner.

Cracking a national entrance exam is no piece of cake. However, understanding few tricks, time management and smart studying tips can help students in many
ways. Students can calm themselves down by focusing on the following tips to help crack these exams

Time Management:

Effectively organizing time is the key to helping students organize study and other focuses. Students must plan and devote more time to subjects they are weak at
save time by keeping easy ones for later. Keeping a regular eating and sleeping pattern and timing also helps in having a disciplined schedule which can be devoted
to study.

Prioritize:

Students often enroll themselves for more than one exam having slightly different syllabi of study. The most important exam and common subjects must be thus
prioritized so as to avoid anxiety and nervousness at the last moment.

Analysis:

A strength and weakness analysis must be made well in advance. Students must understand where their strengths lie in order to polish them further and also
understand those skills that need more refinement. Also, an organized format to strengthen weaknesses as part of study and revision works best.

Verbal Reasoning:

Students must continue reading newspapers, editorials, make note of difficult words, take dictionary help, use flash cards, etc. Essay questions are often difficult to
score but practice is the key.

Critical Reasoning:

To prepare for this category, students must be well versed with logic, syllogisms, cause and effect, strong and weak arguments, etc. Solving more and more papers in

Multiple-choice based entrance exams are mostly speed tests. Although students are prepared to attack questions speedily, anxiety may sometimes slower them
down. Also, a trade-off is observed when students are trying to be quick but end up marking the wrong answers. Hence, a though practice of being accurate as well
as fast is required.

Picking the right questions is very crucial. When presented the question paper, students often baffle up by its vastness. In such cases, working smartly by choosing
