MBA at the IIT's
Students aspiring to study management often aim to pursue programmes offered at the esteemed IIM's in the country. Very few know that the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT's) are not only popular for its engineering programmes but also for its management programmes. MBA programmes provided by IITs also rank high in top business schools list.
The IITs's have specific Schools of Management called SoM's and Certain Departments of Management called DoM's. In total, seven IITs provide various MBA programmes. Each of these institutes have different eligibility criteria, fee structure and placement statistics for the MBA programmes. Of these seven institutes, only three institutes - IIT Delhi, IIT Madras and IIT Kharagpur - admit students from non-engineering background for its MBA programme. While, others accept applications only from non-commerce / engineering / science backgrounds.
