
The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national entrance test conducted by the 17 National Law Universities (NLU’s) on rotation for admission to graduate and post graduate programmes - L.LB and L.L.M. Law universities under Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in India conduct the CLAT exam enabling a guideline for admitting students who wish to pursue Law studies. The ninth Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2017) shall be conducted by Chankya National Law University, Patna on Sunday, 14th May, 2017.
Eligibility Criteria:
♦ For UG - Students who have completed their 10+2 (any stream) from a recognized board with minimum 45% marks for general category and 40% marks for reserved category.
♦ For PG - Students who have completed their L.L.B or 5-years integrated L.L.B degree from a recognized university with minimum 55% marks for general category and 50% marks for reserved category.
Note: There is no upper age limit to take the CLAT exam.
