Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) PG Diploma Admission 2017

 

The prestigious Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune has notified candidates to apply for admissions to PG Diploma and Certificates Courses in Film for the academic year 2017-18. The FTII seeks each year a new generation of storytellers: visual and performing artists who share a passion for motion pictures and want to learn by making their own projects in a hands-on, intensive programme. Candidates must apply for an entrance test first, following which upon selection, candidates will be invited for further rounds of selection and admission.

 Eligibility Criteria:

♦ PG Diploma in Direction & Screenplay Writing, Cinematography, Editing, Acting, Feature Film Screenplay Writing, TV Direction, Electronic Cinematography and Video Editing - Any Bachelor’s Degree. 
♦ PG Diploma in Sound Recording and Sound Design: Bachelor's Degree with Physics as a subject at Senior Secondary (10+2) level. 
♦ PG Diploma in Art Direction and Production Design: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture/ Painting/Applied Arts / Sculpture/ Interior Design in or any related field in the Fine Arts or an equivalent qualification. 
♦ PG Certificate Course in Sound Recording and TV Engineering: Bachelor's Degree with Physics as a subject at Senior Secondary (10+2) level.

 

Note: Proportionate no. of seats is reserved for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy layer) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates as per Govt. of India policy of reservations.

 

 Written Test:

Written Test under FTII Entrance Exam 2017 for all the courses will be held on Sunday, 26th March 2017.

Agartala, Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Deharadun, Gangtok, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi & Thiruvananthapuram.

 

 Application Fee:

Rs.3500/- for General /OBC-NCL candidates and Rs.1000/- for SC/ST and Economically Backward candidates

 

 Application Procedure:

Candidates must apply online on the official website - www.ftiindia.com on and from 25th February 2017 to 05th March 2017 till 05.00 pm.
