ICAR All India Entrance Examination 2016

 

 

 

 

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) has scheduled to conduct its All India Entrance Exam for Agriculture (AIEEA) – 2016 for students wishing to pursue graduate and post-graduate programmes in agriculture and its allied fields, other than veterinary sciences. The AIEEA-UG-2016 for under graduates shall be held on the 9th April (Saturday) 2016 and the AIEEA-PG-2016 + Phd. Admissions on the 10th April (Sunday), 2016. 

 

The AIEEA permits a gateway to candidates for programmes sub-categorized in 2 Steams. Candidates need to choose any one stream for selection of courses -

  For UG courses the candidates are required to pass out the 12th Class and should have one of the PCM / PCB / PCMB as compulsory subjects.

  For PG courses aspirants are required to have a graduation degree in Agriculture, Veterinary, Forestry, Agri. Marketing and Cooperation, Food Science, Biotechnology, Agricultural Engineering, Fisheries, Horticulture, Home Science, agriculture.

 

 

UG Courses: 18-23 years.
PG Courses: not be less than 19 years. 

 

 

♦ 180 multiple choice questions.  

♦ 60 questions in physics and chemistry each. 60 questions in Agriculture/Biology/Mathematics

♦ 4 marks for each correct answer

♦ 1 mark deduction for each wrong answer 

♦ Question papers to be set in 2 languages – English and Hindi.

♦ Application Procedure: Online and offline

Online: From the official website, candidates must fill up the form and pay the fees online.

Offline mode:

Firstly, candidates need to obtained form by cash payment from Registrars of Agricultural Universities or from specified branches of Syndicate Bank and also from ICAR Institutions by payment through Bank Draft or by Cash through Challan.

Then send dully filled application along with all required documents on or before the last date.
