
The MAEER's MIT Institute of Design started its operations in August 2006, guided by the days leading minds in the Indian design education, with a plan to develop its identity as a research & training institution of highest international quality.
The institute conducts examination for the following courses:

Eligibility:
♦ Bachelor of Design
The candidate should have completed 10+2 from any stream, (State Boards AISSCE/ IB/ ISC)
♦ Master of Design
Graduate or its equivalent (10+2+3 minimum), need to apply for the programme.
Exam Pattern:
MIT-DAT entrance exam is split into 2 phases:

Scholarship
To students from economically weaker sections, the institute offers Scholarships to all new, needy entrants, the MIT Institute of Design grants full or partial scholarships to 5% of the total students each year. The eligibility of the scholarships would depend upon the performance of the student and his/her financial needs.
