NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST-NET JULY 2016

 

 

 

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts the National Eligibility Test (NET) each year under the University Grants Commission (UGC). Candidates wishing to be eligible for the post of an Assistant Professor or a Junior Research Fellow in Indian universities must clear the NET exam. The NET exam will be conducted in 83 subjects of specialization at 89 centers across the country. The NET 2016 is scheduled to be held on Sunday, 10th July, 2016. 

 

 

  Master’s level with minimum 55% marks from recognized universities/institutions.
  Candidates awaiting their final year Master’s exam results may also apply.
  Ph.D. degree holders who have completed their Master’s level exam by 19th September 1991. 
  Candidates must appear in the subject of their masters only. 

 

 

  For Junior Research Fellowship: Candidate’s age should not be more than 28 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per govt. rule.
  For Lecturer-ship: no limitation in age.
