
The National Institutes of Technology (NIT’s) conduct the NIMCET exam each year as a gateway for aspirants to pursue the Masters in Computer Application (MCA) Programme at the esteemed NIT’s in the country. This national level test enables candidates to study at the various NIT’s at - Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Calicut, Durgapur, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli and Warangal. The NIMCET 2016 is scheduled to be held on Sunday, 29th May, 2016.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must be Indian nationals.
At least 60% marks aggregate in B.Sc./BCA/B.E/B.Tech or equivalent.
Candidates appearing the final year exams can also apply, provided they submit a copy of attestations of mark sheets at the time of admission.

Exam Pattern & Duration:
NIMCET - 2016 exam is a 2-hours test with 120 multiple-choice questions with four choices for each question. Each correct answer gains four marks and each wrong answer gains a negative mark.
