Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design 2017

 

Under the guidance of the UCEED Admission Committee, the IIT Bombay shall be conducting the UCEED 2017 which is the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED). Aspirants can avail admissions to the following programmes through the UCEED 2017 – Bachelor of Design (B.Des) Programmes at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati and IIITDM Jabalpur. UCEED 2017 will also form the basis for admission to the Bachelor's and Dual Degree Programme (entry at the 10+2 level) in Design (B.Des) at the Industrial Design Centre, IIT Bombay. UCEED - IIT 2017 exam is scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, 22nd January 2017.

 

 Eligibility Criteria:

     ♦ Open to Indian and Foreign nationals. 
     ♦ Students must have cleared class XII or equivalent from any stream - Science, Commerce, or Arts & Humanities.

 

 Registration for UCEED 2017

Candidates must register online only on the UCEED’s online portal www.uceed.in.

 

 Application Fees

     ♦ For General/OBC-NCL Category: Rs.2000/- (Male); Rs.1000/- (Female) and Rs.2000/- (Third). 
     ♦ For SC/ST/PWD Category: Rs.1000/- (Male); Rs.1000/- (Female) and Rs.1000/- (Third).

Applicants must satisfy all of the above mentioned eligibility criteria and the application cannot be withdrawn after registration is completed. Application fee is NEITHER refundable NOR transferable.

 

 Exam Pattern

UCEED is a 3-hour computer based test carrying 300 Marks. The question paper will be in English.

 UCEED 2017 Exam Centres

UCEED 2017 will be held in the following 19 cities in India: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Pune, Raipur and Thiruvananthapuram

Candidates should compulsorily opt for three cities of their choice, in the order of preference, at the time of online application.
