Xavier Aptitude Test 2018

 

XAT 2018 - Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), conducted by XLRI – Xavier Labour Relations Institute, Jamshedpur, is one of the biggest national level MBA entrance exam aspired by majority of the MBA aspirants. XAT 2018 scores will be accepted by XLRI Jamshedpur and other Xavier Associate Management Institutes and 141 B-schools across India for admission. XAT 2018 will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2018.

 

Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is the national level aptitude test for admission to XLRI’s flagship business management (BM), Personnel Management and Industrial Relations (PMIR) programmes and 15-months full-time residential GMP (General Management Program). The XAT exam is one of the highly competitive exams after CAT for admission to top management programmes.

 

 Eligibility:

♦ Recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration or equivalent in any discipline. Students completing their final year examination may also apply.
♦ All Indian candidates must appear for XAT 2018. However NRI and foreign candidates may apply through GMAT score (except Dubai and Kathmandu wherein candidates have an option of appearing for XAT 2018).

 

 Application Procedure:

Candidates must apply online on the XAT official website.

 

 Exam Structure:

XAT is a paper pencil based test of 3-hour duration. The paper comprises of 2 sections. The candidates should also note that there is a provision of negative marking, for every incorrect option 1/4th marks allotted to the question will be deducted.

 XAT 2017 Application Fee:

The application fee for XAT 2018 is Rs. 1650. The candidates have to additionally pay Rs. 250 for each programme of XLRI. Applicants for XAT 2018 can choose to pay online using credit card/ debit card/ online banking. Candidates can also make payment through a demand draft made from any bank (in favour of XLRI Jamshedpur A/C XAT). Third alternative for making payment can be “cash”. This can be done from any of the IDBI Bank branches located in India to make payment for XAT 2018.

XAT 2017 would be conducted across India in the following cities - Agartala, Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Berhampur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Coimbatore, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi, Goa, Greater Noida, Gurgaon, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Jammu, Jamshedpur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mangalore, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nasik, Noida, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, Rourkela, Sambalpur, Surat, Tiruchirapalli, Trivandrum, Udaipur, Vadodara, Varanasi, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam. XAT 2018 would also be conducted across the following two international cities - Dubai, Kathmandu.
