IIFT MBA (IB) 2018 exam new date December 3, no more clash with CAT 2017
The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has decided to reschedule the date of Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business (IB) entrance exam from 26 November to 3 December to save the clashing of IIFT and CAT 2017 as both had been scheduled for November 26.
The students were bewildered by the initial announcement of the both the exams IIFT MBA (IB) 2018 and CAT 2017. They would have to choose one of the two. The decision has brought a sigh of relief from thousands of candidates who were due to appear for the exam this year. Now the clash is resolved.?
- The candidates willing to apply at IIFT for admission to MBS program in International business can apply till September 15, 2017.
- The last date to apply and submit GMAT scores for Foreign Nationals and NRI candidates is February 15, 2017.
- The IIFT MBA (IB) exam will be conducted on December 3 in a single session from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon.
- There is no age limit to apply for IIFT’s MBA (IB). Candidates are only required to possess a Bachelors degree in any discipline and should score at least 50 percent of marks in the IIFT entrance.
- The entrance will be conducted in the following cities only – Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Dehradun, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur and Visakhapatnam
Type of Test IIFT MBA (IB) – it is an entrance examination for shortlisting candidates who are then called for Writing Skills Assessment, Group Discussion, and Interview. The entrance test will be an objective type written test. The test paper will cover questions from English Grammar, Vocabulary and Comprehension, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation and Quantitative Analysis..
How you can apply for IIFT’s MBA (IB) entrance exam:
- Go to the official IIFT website: iiftadmissions.net.in
- Click on ‘Apply Now’ and choose the category you want apply under.
- Fill the registration form and submit it.
- An application number will be generated and sent to you via email.
- Log into the official website using the application number and password sent to your registered email id.
- Fill in other details and complete the registration process?
Once that’s completed, pay the registration fee (General, OBC: Rs 1550, SC/ST/PWD: Rs 775, Foreign Nationals and NRIs: $80 or Rs 4,500) online or through a demand draft
- Upload a scanned photo of yours.
- After the online application process is complete, take a printout of the application for future reference.
