Science Education and Research (IISER) at 7 centers –Behrampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Tirupati and Thiruvananthapuram. The IISERs are inviting applications for its 5 Year BS-MS dual degree integrated Programme.

Eligibility Criteria:
Aspiring candidates must have passed the XII board examination in 2017/2018 in the science stream along with any one of the following criteria –
- Kishore Vaigyanik ProtsahanYojana (KVPY) Fellowship.
- IIT Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2018: Students obtaining a minimum of 60% marks in class XII and securing a place in the Rank List of Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2018 for the admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs)
- State and Central Boards: Students passed class XII in 2017 or appearing in 2018 in science stream.
Scholarship: All BS-MS students can avail a scholarship from KVPY or INSPIRE of Rs. 5000/- per month as per Department of Science & Technology norms subject to good academic performance.

Exam Pattern & Duration:
- Multiple-choice questions in four subjects – Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics.
- 15 questions in each subject (total: 60).
- Duration: 180 minutes.
- Marking Scheme: +3 (correct response), 0 (no response), -1 (wrong response).
