Symbiosis School of Sports Sciences

 

The Symbiosis School of Sports Sciences (SSSS), Pune announces admissions to MBA in Sports Management for the year 2017. The institute proposes a full time 2-year course focusing on a unique mapping of sports and business management. The 2-year intensive programme aims to imbibe a combination of using business skills complemented by sports knowledge in students aspiring to amalgamate the two. Creating a forte paramount for sports management careers, the school plans to work on various skill areas like- finance, analytics, technology, marketing and operations. Supporting the theoretical classes, practical applications of concepts via field work, internships are proposed by the institute.

 Duration of Course: Two Years Full Time

 Eligibility Criteria:

Graduate from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) at graduation level. Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST) at qualifying examination.

 

 Admission Process:

♦ Indian Students: All eligible candidates will appear for the Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test (PIWAT) process.
♦ International Students: Admission of all international students are done through International office of Symbiosis International University

 

 Reservation

Reservation of (i) within the intake; (ii) 15% SC; (iii) 7.5% ST; (iv) 3% Physically disabled; (v) Over and Above; (vi) 2 Seats Kashmiri Migrants and; (vii) 15% International Students.

 

 Fee Details: Academic fees Rs. 325000/- per year and deposit Rs 20,000/-

 

 How to Apply

Candidates must apply online for SNAP. For seeking admission to the Symbiosis School of Sports Sciences students should complete the following procedure:

♦ Step I

The applicant must register and pay online for SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) Examination, 2016. SNAP 2016 test fee is INR 1500/-. This is not refundable. For more details, please visit www.snaptest.org

♦ Step II

While registering for SNAP, applicant must also apply for SSSS in the same application form. A registration fee of Rs.1000/- is to be paid to SSSS for each programme that the aspirant wishes to apply. This is mandatory, without which the applicant will not be considered for short-listing for the GE (Group Exercise) PI-WAT (Personal Interview and Writing Ability Test) process for the respective programme(s).
