FDDI AIST 2018

The Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), Noida conducts entrance tests each year for students to admissions into their bachelor’s and master’s programmes for the academic year 2018-19. Interested candidates must apply for the Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI)’s All India Selection Test (AIST) – 2018 to avail admission to the many programmes in Footwear, Retail, Design and Leather Accessory Design.

The FDDI AIST – 2018 is scheduled to be conducted on the 27th, 28th & 29th April 2018.

Programs Offered:

♦ MBA (Retail Management & Fashion Merchandise)

♦ MBA (Footwear Design, Production & Management)

♦ M.Des (Creative Design and CAD/CAM)

♦ Bachelor Degree Programs - (4 years)

♦ B.Des (Footwear Design, Production and Management)

♦ B.Des (Fashion Design, Leather Goods and Accessories Design)

♦ B.Des (Fashion Merchandise & Retail Management)

♦ Integrated Program (Bachelor + Master) (5 years)

♦ Business and Entrepreneurship Management

Eligibility Criteria:

For PG Programs: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institutions/university.

For UG Programs: Candidates should have cleared class 12 the examination from a recognized board or university. Candidates should have proficiency in English.

For Integrated Program: Candidates should have 10+2/Intermediate (candidates appearing in 10+2 may also apply)

Note: Candidates who have attempted CAT/MAT/XAT are eligible for exemption from appearing in the online test of FDDI. The common merit list of online test will be prepared for candidates appeared in test of FDDI and applied under CAT & MAT category.

Age Limit:

FDDI entrance exam eligibility criteria states that aspirants who are 25 years of age or below as on July 31, 2018 can appear for FDDI AIST 2018 for UG admissions. However, there is no age restriction for aspirants applying for PG course admissions.

Exam Pattern & Duration:

AIST 2018 is conducted both in the Hindi as well as English medium. This design entrance test will be conducted only as a computer based exam. The entrance test will be for a duration of 2.5 hrs (two and half-hours). There would be a total of 150 objective types questions. Each question would carry one mark; there is no negative marking.

Exam Centers:

As per the last year, FDDI AIST had to be conducted at following centre: Agra, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bareilly, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Chhindwara, Chittorgarh, Dehradun, Delhi, Faridabad, Fursatganj, Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Gurgaon, Guwahati, Gwalior, Hyderabad, Indore, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Jalandhar, Jammu, Jamshedpur, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Meerut, Mumbai, Noida, Patna, Ranchi, Rohtak, Kochi, Shimla

Aspirants need to mention the names of four test city choices in their FDDI application form (in order of their preference) for examination centre.

FDDI exam centres would be allotted to students on the basis of availability.

Application Procedure: Interested students must apply online on the official website - www.fddiindia.com.

Brochure: The cost of Prospectus along with Admission Form is Rs.500/- Prospectus along with the Admission Form can be purchased from FDDI Campus at Noida, Fursatganj, Chennai, Kolkata, Chhindwara, Rohtak, Jodhpur and Guna. One can send a Demand Draft of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) in favour of "FDDI" payable at New Delhi to FDDI, NOIDA and it will be sent through courier.
