Diploma courses after SSC (10th)
If students do not wish to pursue the regular course after SSC, they also have a choice of pursuing diplomas after SSC. Diplomas can be divided into technical diplomas and non-technical diploma courses. Technical diplomas are for those who wish to pursue technical careers in engineering and technology. Diplomas can be followed up by either post diplomas or some courses also have a choice of joining the bachelors program after the completion of the diploma. Diploma courses are open to both girls and boys.
Engineering Diplomas:
Engineering diplomas can be pursued after SSC. A sound knowledge of physics and at least average numerical ability and a keen interest in mechanical work is vital
for success. Engineering diplomas can be pursed in the field of:
Computer engineering
Automobile engineering
Electronics and telecommunication
Mechanical engineering
Production engineering
